GENERAL
Akti (“shore” in Greek). The pint where the sea meets land. Akti Rose the wine where Lefkada grape (80%) meets Mavro. The wine where, on its nose, the ripe red and store fruit notes meets sweet spices and delicate herbaceousness. The wine where, on its palate, softness meets a bright acidity. The wine where elegance meets voluptuousness.
WINEMAKING
The grapes after cutting, remained for 12 hours in special refrigeration chambers until their temperature reached 5° C. This was followed by rupture, cold pressure of the grape mass (5-7° C) and static release of the must. The next step was to vaccinate the cleared must for the onset of the alcoholic fermentation. The fermentation process took place at 12-14° C and lasted 20-25 days.
GASTRONOMY
It is mainly combined with salad, seafood dishes and soft cheeses. Served: 6-8° C.
